Hello! I am Janet of Sew Square Quilting. My love for quilting began about 15 years ago when I took my first beginner’s quilting class at a local shop, and it quickly became my “therapy.” In my first year, I made 13 quilts and gave them all to family members! I sew every single day and absolutely love it. I work full-time as an Instructional Designer and Corporate Trainer for a healthcare organization where I specialize in adult learning. In February 2020, I became a Studio 180 Certified Instructor. I have combined my two passions, the love for teaching and quilting, into a fun side job where I teach people how to perfect their piecing with the Studio 180 tools. I love sharing my passion for quilting to help my students learn more about fine-tuning their skills. Whether they are brand new to the hobby or advanced quilters, I enjoy seeing how excited they get when they pull together a beautifully pieced quilt.
